Anyway, as a dedicated conservationist I set up the Bureau of Mines to control mineral resources, rescued millions of acres of western coal lands from exploitation, and protected water-power sites from private development. OK now here we are at the election of 11, and yes I will be in the running for the Republican Nomination for the second year in a row, but I have some troublesome competition this time, ah yes, Mr. Roosevelt. The Mr. Roosevelt, who once said that he would not run for a third term, was going against his word and was also running for the Republican Nomination. Yet, sorry to say, Roosevelt was 100 delegates short of winning the nomination, therefore declaring me, William Howard Taft as the Republican Candidate. Having tasted for once the bitterness of defeat, Roosevelt, the poor loser, went on to create a third party. And in a childish attempt to win the race, Roosevelts Bull Moose Party split my Republican votes, destroying my chance to become President for the nd year in a row. I was researching this project online when I came across The Constitution. IN the First Amendment it states that all people have Freedom of Speech. WHen I clicked on it, it brought up a definition. Agree with me when I say, dress code is harsh and having your shirt tucked in wont change how smart you are. Freedom of Expression is what makes us all different and unique. Why live in black and white when you could likve in color? Some may say school is for earning not for showing off your clothes. Its not just about your outfit but being able to live your life the wat that our Fore Fathers intended we could. In colclusion, take away our freedomn and the choice to dress the way we choose? •Listen for the desire and reflect it back. (Desire reflected) You wanted the house to be in order and the children in bed when you came home last night.

Validation is making the other persons perspectives and experience important to you.

•(Validation) You expected the house to be cleaned up & the kids to be in bed when you got home. I can see how you feel frustrated."

Responding is acting on what you heard, while communicating good will.

•(Response) "I know when you got home you felt imposed upon and responsible to finish cleaning the house and putting the kids to bed. I dont want to put more work on you.
